FOR OUR MEMBERS AND OUR COMMUNITY
We’re thrilled to announce Florida Credit Union's fourth annual “Beyond the Arc” fundraising campaign! For every Gator three-point basket made during home and away games throughout the 2024-2025 University of Florida men and women’s basketball seasons, $25 will be donated by Florida Credit Union to The Education Foundation of Alachua County:
The Education Foundation is a non-profit based in Gainesville that works with Alachua County public schools to invest in local students and teachers through scholarships, mentoring and grants, empowering students to strive for success in their futures.
Given Florida Credit Union’s start in 1954 as a teachers’ credit union, we feel passionately about supporting our area's schools and students!
Season Highlights
- December 21 against North Florida: The Annual Holiday Hoops Game and fundraiser presented by Florida Credit Union! The first 2,000 fans receive an Albert Snow Globe and $5 of the $15 tickets purchased go back to the Education Foundation.
- January 30, 2025 against Vanderbilt University: FCU and The Education Foundation will partner to attend the UF women’s basketball game. 50 tickets donated by FCU will be available to teachers. This game will have a western theme, and all teachers in attendance are invited to join a halftime line dance on the court.
- March 1 against Texas A&M: During UF men’s basketball game, a student will compete against Danny Wuerffel, 1996 Heisman Trophy winner, in a free throw challenge.
